Off to court we go......

Happy Birthday Mam!  Certainly a birthday to remember.  We left our hotel super early to make it to the court in the rush hour traffic.  Lil Miss L looked adorable in her new outfit just for today!  Thank you Auntie Andrea.  I'm not sure the Ugandan system understands that court is a daunting process for children and Lil Miss L didn't seem to understand what we were doing.  She knows that the man behind the desk is important in making a decision as to if she can live with me or not, so I guess that's something.
Now the dreaded wait begins.  The judgement will be given Friday 5th November.  The Judge picked up on the fact I am not 21 years older than Lil Miss L, which is what Ugandan law states you must be, so we need a lot of prayers and trust that he can ignore this and grant the adoption as it's in her best interests.

Welcome to Uganda

So our plane touched down and we arrived on Ugandan soil again.  The most annoying thing is we arrived in the dark, so we did the only thing we could do, and went to bed.  The thing is, you sleep much easier when you know there is a very special person just a few miles away who you get to spend the afternoon with the following day.  And that's just what we did.  So day one Uganda, we spent the afternoon with Lil miss L.  She had books to work through, a skipping rope and a game of ludo.  The time flew by and sadly, no sooner it seemed we had collected her from the home, it was time to take her back.
